Hi everyone!
How are you?
I haven't been updating since December I guess, so it's time for another journal. Skyrim is long forgotten since I've got my day-light lamp I sketch like crazy at any time of day and night. This is how I hope get better at drawing and painting.
Thanks God I have coffee.
I have been thinking which way to go with my artwork.. Am I happy with my style and subject? What can I do better? Should I change medium and anything like this. People around me, my family members and friends keep on giving me critique and suggest to do more landscapes and flower well NORMAL things and not JUST fairies which they don't take seriously. I don't know maybe I am so "lucky" but it looks like here around people do not consider illustrations being art in general

Anything realistic or semi-realistic is serious and ART but the same call modern abstract things art too, confusing isn't it? I tried to experiment with style a little with my Vampire ladies series but I really feel like I miss my Flower fairies…
Anyone who want to share any thought on this subject is most welcome

I have taken pictures while working on my last two pieces as I promised to some of my watchers. i will be uploading two step-by-step progressions\walkthrough I don't know what is the right name for it but I hope it will give a general idea of how I work.
We did some new stock becaue I was lacking reference for my flower fairies series so new images will be added soon.
Looks like I have no more news at the moment

Hi, my name is Janna Prosvirina, I am the artist of the artwork you can find at this page.
Currently I reside in Austria. I am entirely self-taught, I began working mainly in pencils but found my way painting faeries in watercolour.
I have always been interested in myth, legend, fairytales and fantasy worlds created by other artists, that is why fantasy themes are my favourite.
Sources of my inspiration are nature, autumn, music, people around me. I love painting, travelling, photography, modelling, going online and talk to creative people. I have a wide range of interest in different styles of art and still exploring different media. I am happy to have the opportunity to share my creations with others.
