When I look at this picture, I don't believe I did it myself :lmao: The colors are so much different to what I ussually use; it was a nice change, though:-) I also used another kind of paper this time ( Fabriano hot-pressed 240g) it was a disaster to work on a smooth surface like this but I rather like the final result and the fact that one doesn't see the texture of the paper, so I can call it a success after all:XD:

I tried the Fabriano hot pressed paper once too - as you say, it was a disaster. I wouldn't change my beloved Arches paper for anything :D
Anyway, the result looks very nice :)

I love Archers too, it's the best paper I tried by now; still a bit expensive, so I thought to try Fabriano which is cheaper but it was not really worth it...

I never tried fabriano ,..for my watercolor/mixed works i use arches hotpress , long time ago i tried canson cold press and i didn't like it.
